The 2012 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chenevotte has a lovely openness and airiness on the nose that is in contrast to the Les Champs Gain. The palate is lively and energetic on the entry with a racy citric thread and a wonderful saline note on the persistent finish. There is great potential here.
