The 2012 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers tended to ripen earlier and was picked in the first two days of the harvest. It has a leafy, tertiary bouquet that complements the bright red berry fruit. The palate is quite sweet in the mouth, nicely balanced with a fleshier finish than the nose suggests. Fine.
