From 70 year old vines made in one big amphora, and one old barrel. Fullish yellow, an opulent ripe nose, with some of the exotic honeysuckle qualities. However, the palate is very well balanced with a huge energy of golden apple fruit, just enough acidity and a faint point of bitterness which adds very nicely to the structure. A properly long finish, the product of old vines, very classic Charmes at the end.
