The 2009 Morey St. Denis Clos de la Bussiere is a delicious wine at this level. Dark red berries, menthol, spices and licorice wrap around the palate in this surprisingly large-scaled, generous Clos de la Bussiere. My sense is that the 2009 will enjoyed a long drinking window.

Black cherry, black currant and violet aromas and flavors are enticing and pure in this red. A hint of sweet spices emerges toward the finish, as do the refined, tightly knit tannins. This has intensity and excellent length.
