This is even spicier with its broad-ranging nose of anise, clove, sandalwood, black cherry and floral notes. There is excellent richness to the big-bodied and muscular yet seductively textured flavors that possess plenty of dry extract that coats the palate on the mocha-infused finish where a touch of wood surfaces. This moderately complex effort should also be approachable young but I would be inclined to age it with the hopes that better depth will develop.
