The dark ruby-colored 1997 Volnay Clos des Ducs displays super aromas of soy sauce, hoisin, and spices. This powerful, yet elegant, wine is jam-packed with sweet black fruits, flowers, stones, and herbs. A powerful, complex, and complete wine, it should be drunk over the next dozen years.
