Smoky red and dark berry fruit aromas are enhanced by spice, earth and very subtle wood toast nuances. The delicious and vibrant if not especially dense middle weight flavors possess an attractive texture that carries over to the dusty, moderately firm and ever-so-mildly austere finale. This is sufficiently structured and compact to need at least 3 to 5 years of keeping.
