A remarkably spicy and very Gevrey nose features plenty of sauvage character on the broad-ranging aromas of red and dark currant, underbrush, and floral scents. The rich, full-bodied and powerful broad-shouldered flavors possess a seductive mid-palate thanks to the abundant and very sappy dry extract that serves to buffer the notably firm tannic spine on the impressively persistent and well-balanced finale. An excellent Gevrey 1er that is well-worth your interest provided that you intend to cellar it.
