?A discreet touch of wood sets off notes of more complex and more deeply pitched aromas of dark berries, humus and plum along with a similar hint of herbal tea. Here too there is an appealing texture to the velvety and solidly concentrated medium weight flavors that possess good tension on the acceptably balanced and lingering finish that also exhibits a very mild edginess that will probably round off with a year or two of bottle age.
