Cask sample. Redcurrant and raspberry fruit, very high tannins with a floury, fluffy texture. Medium length and a touch of soy suggesting more complexity to come.
Bottled in January. The domaine has nearly a hectare, from 5 plots lower down and north of the village. Darker colour than the Gevrey and a more backward, at least less fruit forward on the nose. There is a little bit of spice here and the oak component is much better integrated. Some firm tannins and good acidity.
