?Young? vines (10-25 years old, average 16 years) in Le Musigny. Very powerful attack ? intensely up-the-nose. Lots of freshness and minerality rather than sweet fruit on the nose. Massive palate impact ? spreads really right across the palate. Firm finish and masses of subtlety on the way there. Distinctive in terms of texture. Long and sinewy. Lot of energy. No one would be disappointed by this. Firm finish after hugely impressive impression.
