Vinous (98)

The 2024 Rauzan-Ségla is magnificent. One of the top wines of the Left Bank, Rauzan-Ségla possesses tremendous textural density and mind-blowing balance. Dark fruit, lavender, spice, licorice and new leather are all dialed up in a potent, layered Margaux that offers stunning harmony and incredible purity. At this stage, Rauzan-Ségla is one of the wines of the vintage in Bordeaux. Elegant yet powerful, the 2024 is simply magnificent.

Falstaff (94)

Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Fresh sweet cherries, fine wild berry confit, soft notes of vanilla and orange zest, inviting bouquet. Juicy, elegant, ripe cherries, fresh, ripe tannins, pleasant sweetness on the finish, good ageing potential

Robert Parker (92)

89-92
A blend of 63.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 0.5% Cabernet Franc, the 2024 Rauzan-Ségla offers up aromas of minty cassis, pencil shavings and cigar wrapper, followed by a medium-bodied, soft and pillowy palate that's supple and open-knit, concluding with a melting, discreetly herbal finish

James Suckling (94)

93-94
A juicy, fruity wine with lovely berry and cherry aromas. Bright and vibrant, with a medium body and lightly chewy tannins. Supple in the middle, with a firm, medium-long finish. 63.5% cabernet sauvignon, 34% merlot, 2% petit verdot and 0.5% cabernet franc.

Jancis Robinson (16.50)

Fresh and floral with juicy fruit on the palate. A little low key but mid-palate fruit, fine tannins and everything in balance. Elegance and drinkability.

Jeb Dunnuck (94)

92-94
The Grand Vin 2024 Château Rauzan-Ségla checks in as 63.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, and a splash of Cabernet Franc, with the élevage spanning 18 months in 50% new oak. It brings another level of density as well as finesse. Ripe black cherries, cassis, graphite, spring flowers, and beautifully integrated oak all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with solid mid-palate depth, ripe tannins, and outstanding length.
