Vanilla and sweet spice notes lead off, with cherry and strawberry flavors close behind. The solid backbone quickly shuts this down, but all the elements are in balance.
Poured from magnum. Only just mid ruby with orange tinges. Fine candied fruit, vanilla and tobacco-leaf nose. Sweet fruit palate lined with oak and muscular, wonderfully ripe tannins. Hedonistic and at the same time elegant. Well done for such an allegedly warm site.?
