A linear, dense style, this reveals a beam of cherry, currant and floral notes, backed by a mineral underpinning. Serious tannins and bracing acidity suggest this has the potential to age. Shows plenty of energy.?
Mid cherry red. There seems to be a hint of sweet, spicy oak on the nose. Lots of ripe fruit and palate impact but overall a little light and tentative. It will probably take on flesh but is not definitively grand cru status at the moment. Lots of tannin on the end. Round and persistent but not insistent.
