A compact style, with a core of cherry and strawberry fruit, accented by hints of spice and backed by crunchy acidity. Presents a moderately long finish.
There is better freshness as well as better complexity to the array of plum, violet, earth and game aromas. There is fine detail to the sleekly muscular middle weight plus flavors that exude a fine minerality on the youthfully austere finish where a trace of dryness can be found. In this case though I suspect that the dryness is more related to the copious level of gas than any significant deficit of phenolic maturity.
