A more deeply pitched nose somewhat grudgingly reveals its aromas of plum, dark berries and a whiff of the sauvage. The lilting and relatively fine flavors still manage to display focused power on the complex, long and more youthfully austere finale that is ever-so-slightly more structured as well. This is a fine Gevrey villages that is again worth checking out.
More crimson than purple in colour. The nose is beguiling, strawberry slightly to the fore, but with roses in full bloom as well. Excellent tension on the second half of the palate, with useful acidity, and a long fine aftertaste.
