The 1982 must be among the most seductive wines this estate has recently made. It boasts a big, lovely, ripe, rich, black currant bouquet, deep, supple, concentrated flavors, a long finish, and adequate tannin for another 5-8 years of cellaring. The 1982 marked a dramatic turnabout in the quality of this estate's wines.
