Stunning nose of ripe pineapple and mango with hints of mangosteen and tobacco leaf. Concentrated and compact, the fine tannins beautifully underlining the richness, the finish very long, pithy and mineral. Limited production. Excellent aging potential. Drink or hold.

The 2022 Grüner Veltliner Loibner Vinothekfüllung is made from the ripest grapes from Schütt, Kreutles and Loibenberg. This style was first made in 1988 and denotes a wine destined for longer aging. Notes of juicy, ripe yellow pear open on the nose. The palate is contoured, with tingling, zesty citrus, saltiness and much concentration on a more rounded but still not opulent body. Pepperiness and smooth, intense yeastiness provide length. (Bone-dry)
