The vines are planted en travers above Reignots, without tractor access, so all is done by hand and horse on this free draining soil. The wine is matured using 70% new wood, while Arnaud has introduced a proportion of whole bunches (40-50%) since 2016. The 2019 Petits Monts is not so dark in colour and a little wilder especially as the floral side of the whole bunches comes out, alongside a slightly gamey character.
