Burghound (92)

he nose is compositionally similar to that of the Clos de la Roche but with the addition of a broader range of spice elements and, importantly, no volatile acidity. The sleek, intense and muscular broad-shouldered flavors possess good depth on the lingering and youthfully austere finish that is shaped by very firm tannins. This overtly powerful effort isn't elegant, but it possesses fine development potential.
