This wine is surprisingly structured. It boasts a deep color in addition to a sweet black currant and pepper-scented nose with toast in the background. The wine reveals medium body, moderate tannin, and excellent depth and length. About 45% of the crop made it into this cuvee.
Serious concentration of fruit in this wine, with plenty of chocolate and berry character and a hint of dried herbs on the nose. Full- to medium-bodied, with plenty of fruit and a velvety texture.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
