The 1995 Barolo La Serra exhibits a textbook nose of melted road tar, rose petals, and cigar box aromas, moderate tannin, ripe fruit, medium body, and a dry, austere finish. It is a very good, classic Barolo, but the slight austerity kept my score more conservative. Drink it over the next decade.
