The 2002 Vosne-Romanee, a medium to dark ruby-colored wine, was bottled seven days before I visited the winery. Its up-front, gorgeously sweet aromatics reveal raspberries and cherries. On the palate, this softly textured, medium-bodied wine bursts with satiny red fruits as well as hints of cola. It is extroverted yet possesses excellent structure.
