Jasper Morris MW: ‘Cuvée du Merisier’. The vines were planted in 1905. Glowing purple, a vastly seductive bouquet of immensely rich ripe but balanced fruit. How many different types of raspberry. Ultra succulent, glorious and balanced. Doesn’t show much acidity but there is enough, and the tannins are totally enrobed.
