A mentholated top note is present on the slightly riper aromas of cassis, plum and violet. There is very fine concentration to the equally delicious and seductive flavors that possess a juicy and plump mid-palate that contrasts with the moderately firm, balanced and youthfully austere finale. This is an excellent, if decidedly serious, Chambolle villages that is worth checking out.
