The 2012 Echezeaux Grand Cru, which comes from the lieu-dit “Du Dessus” has a very pure bouquet with vibrant red berry fruit – raspberry and wild strawberry entwined with fine mineralite. The palate is very refined with supple, linear tannins. This is very focused, again, handling the oak with style with good density and symmetry on the long finish. This is an accomplished Echezeaux.
