The 2019 Côte de Nuits-Villages Aux Montagnes offers up a delicately high-toned bouquet of wild berries, plums and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively and tensile palate that's chalky and saline, with powdery tannins and fine length on the finish.

Tasted at the Côte de Nuits-Villages event in Comblanchien, not at the winery. Rich deep purple black. There is clearly power in this wine in this vintage but this is not overdone. Good deep juicy finish. Very successful 100% whole bunch vinification, but by no means too obvious.
