Vinous (92)

The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village, which was de-stemmed, offers blackberry and crushed chalk aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity, quite feisty towards the finish with orange pith and marmalade imparting an exotic element. Rather spicy on the aftertaste, this should be afforded 2 or 3 years in bottle.

Burghound (91)

A much spicier and more elegant nose presents notes of plum, dark currant, exotic tea and a whiff of sandalwood. There is a highly seductive mouthfeel to the round, plush and velvety middle weight flavors that that contrast somewhat with the robust and surprisingly powerful finish that offers solid length on the slightly warm finish.

Jasper Morris (92)

From the south side of Vosne-Romanée, with two plots in Aux Réas and one in Au Dessus de la Rivière, assembled for this sample. Rich purple, lightly reductive, Dark cherry fruit that is very ripe, quite heady on the palate, a useful freshness at the finish, but this is certainly a heady Vosne. The finish is cleaner and fresher.
