There is an attractive freshness to the earthy essence of various wild red berries that is also trimmed in discreet wood influence. The delicious and more concentrated big-bodied flavors exhibit impressive power and punch while delivering solid depth and complexity on the dusty and balanced finale. This isn't nearly as refined or as complex as the Amoureuses but neither is it rustic as the supporting tannins are relatively fine grained.
