Just like it was from cask, the nose is quite reserved and it's necessary to swirl the glass aggressively to get glimpses of the seductive spicy dark berry fruit that runs to black raspberry and cherry, followed by more spice on the rich, full and sweet flavors that are fresh, intense and driving on the wonderfully long finish. This is decidedly firm with at least a decade of upside improvement. A stunner in every respect.
