Medium ruby colour – incredibly vibrant. A bit closed to begin with just a suggestion of the complexity that was about to unfold. With coaxing, dark cherry and damp earth aromas emerge followed by cinnamon, mocha, moss, truffles and cured meats. Violets are the last to come through. Crisp acidity with a medium level of fine tannins and great concentration. Medium+ body, very long finish.
