There's still plenty of life left here in Portugal's most esteemed table wine. The plum and blackberry fruit flavors are ripe and fresh, the tannins are firm and the wine is balanced and long. It shows character and breed.

Still very good colour. Quite deep crimson. Violet, burgundian nose. Wonderful, mature nose, but a bit old and disintegrated on the palate. Very dry tannins. Smell this!
