The NV Brut Nature Textures, an unusual 100% Pinot Blanc, is eccentric and beguiling, with a distinctive, tropical flavor profile, honey, almonds, orange rind and a hint of volatile acidity. There is so much to like, but readers need to be able to look past a few small flaws. Bright, saline notes bring the finish back into focus. At times the Textures is a bit diffuse, but there is certainly no shortage of personality.
