2023 proved to be a challenging year for the Northern Rhône. Uneven flowering, summer heat, and timely rains that fell before and after the color development period forced winemakers to carefully select the harvest. For the “Hermitage La Chapelle” wine from Paul Jaboulet Aîné, this selection is of the utmost importance. This wine is made from 100% Syrah grapes grown in Les Bessards, Le Méal, and Les Rocoules, and is aged in oak barrels for about 12 months. Enjoy “La Chapelle,” crafted in a classic style. Long-term aging is recommended. Enjoy this wine between 2028 and 2045.
