80% whole bunches. A fine deep crimson colour. The nose shows a great weight of fruit behind an initial spiciness. The tension is superb here, with an excellent depth of rich deep cherry fruit, covering the bone structure significantly more than the Latricières-Chambertin does. This is going to be a very classy bottle. The spice and freshness of the stems comes out at the back but the fruit is significantly more dominant. A little redcurrant in the raspberry. Superb persistence.
