Robert Parker (91)

The 2014 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from two sources, one in Pernand and the other towards Ladoix. It has an apricot, tinned peach and white tea-scented bouquet that is well defined and intense. The palate is rounded on the entry and supple in the mouth, though I would like more race and nervosité to come through on the finish. Drink over the next ten years.

Burghound (93)

A trace of wood sets off the admirably elegant and pure green apple, white flower, citrus peel, petrol and wet stone-scented nose. There is evident minerality and good energy to the delicious, intense and mineral-driven medium weight flavors that display excellent length on the youthfully austere finale. This is not especially dense in the context of what is typical but I like the delineation and overall sense of harmony.
