Very ripe but agreeably fresh aromas include those of baked plum, anise, clove, violet, lavender and an interesting hint of sandalwood. The sleeker and more refined medium-bodied flavors flash more evident minerality though decidedly less power and muscle on the super-saline infused finish. This is classy, harmonious and a wine that should reward a decade plus of cellaring.
