Firm reduction on the nose does not prevent the precise, energetic and stony middle weight flavors from displaying a beguiling inner mouth perfume that adds appeal to the wonderfully complex finish. Somewhat curiously, given that the Confuron VRBM is virtually always a wine of finesse and refinement, this is borderline robust and even mildly rustic in 2015.
