Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2024 Emidio Pepe

Emidio Pepe’s 2024 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is made from grapes grown in the family’s vineyards, located near the Adriatic coast. Thanks to the sea breeze and cool nights in this region, the grapes retain high acidity. As with all vintages from this winery, the grapes were foot-pressed in wooden vats, and fermentation took place in concrete tanks. No shortcuts. This wine can be enjoyed until 2036. Trebbiano is often considered a wine “lacking in character,” but Pepe has continued to prove the opposite for 60 years. This 2024 vintage, like all previous ones, is crafted with long-term aging in mind.
