Looking much suaver and more elegant than the recently bottled 2017, the 2018 Chateauneuf du Pape Colombis features aromas and flavors of nearly crystalline-pure red berries, accented by hints of star anise, ground allspice and orange zest. Full-bodied and silky-textured, it's a beauty in the making, with a fine bone structure supporting succulent, well-toned flesh.
