Château Chauvin is a 15-hectare family estate in the north-west of the Saint‑Émilion appellation, purchased in 2014 by Sylvie Cazes and her children. With sandy-clay soils over iron-rich sub-soil and a vineyard planted 75 % Merlot, 20 % Cabernet Franc and 5 % Cabernet Sauvignon, the estate emphasises finesse and terroir-expression. It is classified as a Grand Cru Classé and currently undergoing cellar and vineyard investment.
