Generous wood renders appreciating the underlying fruit, game and earth aromas a challenge. On the plus side there is fine detail and mid-palate concentration to the impressively constituted big-bodied flavors that possess evident muscle and plenty of minerality on the wonderfully long and built-to-age finish.
