One of the most demonstrative wines in the range is the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin La Justice, a medium to full-bodied, supple and sensual red that bursts from the glass with aromas of peonies, blackberries, spices and sweet soil tones. Built around melting tannins and lively acids, it's drinking well out of the gates.
A top note of menthol is present on the ripe blend of black cherry, cassis and violet scents. The succulent, round and caressing but punchy middle weight flavors retain the intrinsic elegance of La Justice while exhibiting fine length on the balanced finish. This could be approached on the younger side if desired.
