The 2022 Morey-Saint-Denis Très Girard wafts from the glass with aromas of sweet red cherries, berries and petals framed by subtle hints of baking spices and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and round, with a lively core of fruit and supple, powdery tannins, it will offer a broad drinking window.
A slightly fresher nose reflects notes of both red and dark cherry along with hints of warm earth. The rich, caressing and almost juicy middleweight flavors possess solid length on the youthfully austere finale that is shaped by relatively fine-grained tannins.
A very pretty deep ruby colour. Not wild but full off fruit, even floral, with some raspberry and cherry notes. Medium bodied, fluid across the palate, not making a big statement but delivering a fine elegant finish with good persistence.
