The 2011 Chambolle-Musigny Les Veroilles comes from terres blanche soils just below Bonnes-Mares. It offers a slightly disjointed bouquet with some green elements evident. The palate is medium-bodied, but after a crisp opening it feels just a little hollow compared to the excellent Marsannays and it is missing some weight toward the finish. Perhaps it will put on more flesh in bottle, but here it feels a little lightweight.
