A discreet touch of wood frames the impressively complex plum, cassis and earth aromas. There is good volume and concentration to the delicious and vibrant flavors that possess very good mid-palate concentration as well as fine length on the palate coating finish. Lovely quality and overall this is a fine Nuits villages.
Jancis Robertson:
Black cherry fruit - quite dark and firm, as befits the appellation. Sour, leafy and pinched on the finish. Quite mean and tough.
