The 2007 Richebourg is the most reticent of these 2007s, and I don’t think time will do much to alter that state of affairs. The wine possesses good length and balance but only modest complexity, particularly at this level.
Rich and round, with medium weight and a bright structure supporting cherry, raspberry, spice and herb flavors. The tannins are refined and well-integrated, and this exudes sweet licorice and savory notes on the finish.
