3 x 350 litre barrels, of which two are new. Pale lemon and lime. A more complex bouquet with the fruit taking the fore, and a touch of reduction. This is complete across the palate, with the fruit leading the way. Late to finish its sugar but has done no harm. A good long finish on ripe apples.
Here too the wood is anything but subtle even if it doesn't overshadow the more floral-suffused white fleshed fruit aromas. There is excellent density to the palate staining and powerful middleweight flavors that culminate in a clean, very dry and youthfully austere finale that is even more tightly wound. This also needs to develop better depth so at least a few years of cellaring should be helpful.
