Jancis Robinson (17.50)

Lots of blossomy impact but less tension than the Tillets. Quite rich and dense with good precision. Massive density and future.

Vinous (92)

Ripe stone fruits, lemon and lime on the bright nose and palate. Juicy, sappy and light on its feet, conveying terrific energy and inner-mouth definition. Finishes adamantly dry, classic and very long. Like most of Roulot's lieu-dit bottlings in 2014, this wine shows premier cru intensity and class, not to mention very good aging potential.

Burghound (91)

There is still enough reduction present to remark upon but not so much as to be off-putting; even so, I would recommend decanting this if you're going to open a bottle young. Otherwise there is good size, weight and punch to the medium-bodied flavors that possess both solid power and a subtle minerality, all wrapped in an impressively long finish that is shaped by bright but not drying acidity. At least moderate patience will be required here and this beauty of a villages level Meursault should age effortlessly for years.
