This is aromatically quite similar to the Chassagne villages if perhaps with just a bit more elegance and complexity. There is excellent density to the delicious and intense medium weight flavors that conclude in a youthfully austere and bone-dry finale that comes up somewhat short. That may change with a few years of bottle aging but at present, this isn't as harmonious as the best here.
Pale colour with rather a neutral nose. The fruit is quite a bit prettier on the palate, greengage and some white fruit, nicely folded in acidity, showing better at the end than the start.
